ORRAA, the Ocean Risk and Resilience Action Alliance, brings together the finance and insurance sectors, governments, communities, and civil society to drive investment in coastal and ocean resilience, particularly in the Global South. Through its Sea Change Impact Financing Facility (SCIFF), ORRAA aims to mobilize at least $1 billion in private investment by 2030 to support nature-based solutions that strengthen economic, social, and environmental resilience. Incubated within SCIFF, the BBA is one of ORRAA’s flagship initiatives, helping to grow an investable pipeline of financial products and policies that build a regenerative and sustainable blue economy for people and the planet.
ORRAA and the development of the BBA are supported by the Paul M. Angell Foundation.
